WELCOME

Welcome to the 25th Corn Exchange Drama Festival.

The festival usually takes place annually in June, when regional theatre groups compete over three or four nights. 2012 is our 25th festival and looks set to be the best year so far.

The Wallingford Corn Exchange is a grade II listed building acquired in 1975 by the Sinodun Players and refitted as a cinema and theatre solely through volunteers.

Opened in 1978 by Sir Peter Hall the building now provides an excellent venue for both theatre and cinema productions with digital projection and Dolby® DIGITAL Surround Sound.

There is an uninterrupted view of stage and screen from everywhere in the 176 seat auditorium. The Corn Exchange has recently refurbished the front of house and provides disabled facilities, a new bar and box office and foyer area in addition to the Curtis Room which provides tea and coffee.

The Corn Exchange is within easy reach of the car parks in the town.
