Blood Wedding by Federico García Lorca is based on the true story of a passionate and repressed love affair where the concept of human fatality is inevitable.

Knives, knives. Cursed be all knives and the scoundrel who invented them.

The play explores the behaviour that drives our humanity by exposing a love that was denied yet never forgotten and the consequences of society, social standing, repression, desire, betrayal and loss.

The performance on Thursday will be followed by a talk-back with the cast and director.

Shellfish Cow Restaurant, a short stroll away from the theatre, are running an exclusive £20 Pre-Theatre Two Course Meal, including a perfectly chilled glass of Prosecco (or soft drink), during our performance run..
Ticket holders can access this splendid promotion by simply mentioning ‘Sinodun Players’ when making reservations there.
