Written and directed by Emily Mortimer’s real-life best friend Dolly Wells, this gentle comedy is about a lazy but charming young woman.
With her widower father currently living it up in Paris with a young, new girlfriend, Lilian (Grace Van Patten) has been placed into the care of family friends in Brooklyn, New York. Under the roof of famous bur reclusive author, Julia Price (Mortimer), Lilian decides to make a documentary on Julia – albeit, an unauthorized one – with the help of some new people in her life.
