The Sinodun Players annual Pantomime. This promises to be a truly traditional pantomime with an inspirational script by Alan P Frayn that delivers more comedy and originality than any other version of this famous folktale.

There is, of course, a beautiful heroine, Belle, her older sisters, Ermengarde and Esmeralda, a couple of greedy and selfish ‘madams’, Belle’s scientist dad Alphonse, French maid Madame Fifi, the typical pantomime dame with her dozy, lazy offspring, Jacques, Hunky Lothario Gustave – big on muscle but small in brain – Belladonna, a glamorous baddie enchantress and a pair of comedy beauticians.
