Enjoy exploring the theme of love in its many guises that runs through Shakespeare’s work with excerpts from some of his best-known and well-loved plays, songs composed by Peter Orton with lyrics from Shakespeare, and readings from the sonnets, ’and let us, ciphers to this great accompt, On your imaginary forces work’ (Henry V).

The performance is for one night only on the very day that the nation celebrates the birth, and marks the death, of our greatest playwright.
