French film with sub-titles.
Agnès Varda, photographer, installation artist and pioneer of the Nouvelle Vague, was an institution of French cinema. In her final film, she uses photos and film excerpts to provide an insight into her unorthodox oeuvre.

Varda began making films in the 1950s and continued until her death at the age of 90 this year. She was a recipient of many honours and awards, including the Palme d’Or and was nominated for an Oscar for Best Documentary in 2018 – unable to attend, she famously sent life-size cut-outs of herself to the nominees lunch.
