Join us as we welcome Sophie Hannah to Wallingford. Sophie is an internationally bestselling and award-winning author. In 2023, she won the Crime Writers Association’s Dagger in the Library Award for her body of work.

Sophie will be in conversation with Alison Gomm, discussing her experiences writing the new Poirot series at the request of Agatha Christie’s family and estate; how Agatha has influenced her writing, and how her latest psychological thriller No One Would Do What The Lambert’s Have Done, has both Agatha Christie and her pseudonym Mary Westmacott at its very heart.

The event will also include a question and answer session and a book signing, supported by Wallingford Bookshop

The Corn Exchange is delighted to offer two other events as part of Wallingford’s Agatha Christie weekend 2025: Where is Mrs Christie? and The Absence of Aunt Greta
