Daniel Craig makes his electrifying debut as James Bond in the film that reinvented 007 for a new generation. Newly promoted to double-O status, Bond is sent after Le Chiffre, a banker to international terrorists whose fortunes now depend on a high-stakes poker tournament at Montenegro’s Casino Royale. Enter Treasury agent Vesper Lynd, charged with keeping an eye on Bond and the millions he is gambling. Stylish, brutal and unexpectedly emotional, Martin Campbell’s acclaimed reboot strips away the gadgets to reveal a younger, more vulnerable Bond, while delivering spectacular action, a formidable villain and all the glamour you could want from 007.
