Summer Stories are for accompanied children aged 6 years and above, and the young at heart.
Told by the Storyteller, Bert Ravens, who will tell two stories lasting approx 30 minutes each, with a 15 minute break in between. The stories will be chosen from:
The Loathly Lady, in which King Arthur and Sir Gawain are the victims of cunning plan by Queen Morgana La Fay. If they cannot answer a riddle they must die.
Lazy Jack: Mum can never get Jack to do anything. She's lost her job. The rent is due. Jack must sell his play station. But Jack has a better idea... then the adventure begins.
Perseus and the Gorgon, in which Perseus is sent on an impossible mission to kill the terriblemonster known as the Gorgon and bring back its head.
Joseph - the Whole Story. In which Joseph is sold into slavery, then into prison and then undergoes an amazing rise in his fortunes before a final reckoning with his brothers.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
