Volunteer Open Day

We are holding a Volunteer Open Day on Saturday 3 October from 10.00am to 2.00pm. This is your chance to see what goes on behind the scenes at the Corn Exchange – both the cinema and theatre. Free guided tours are available and our volunteers will be on hand to chat you through the myriad of volunteer roles available. These include:

• Front of house managers
• Box office
• Bar staff
• Ushers
• Lighting and sound crew
• Stage management
• Projectionists
• Set design & painting
• Set construction
• Acting (we do four plays and panto each year)
• Directing
• Producction
• Costumes
• Props

Plus many other vital behind the scenes roles covering accountancy, HR, marketing, website, building maintenance and health & safety.

So, come along on 3 October to see for yourself. No need to book, just turn up on the day!
