A summer treat for children, Minions gives a starring role to the popular creatures from Despicable Me. In this film, Minions Stuart, Kevin and Bob are recruited by Scarlet Overkill, a super-villain who, alongside her inventor husband Herb, hatches a plot to take over the world.

In Mr. Holmes, Ian McKellen plays the famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, living in retirement in rural Sussex, with his housekeeper Mrs Munro and her young son. Spending his days tending to his bees, and troubled by a failing memory, the aged Holmes is haunted by his last unsolved case.
