Reissue of the classic 1963 black & white film starring Dirk Bogarde with screenplay by Harold Pinter and directed by Joseph Losey.

A wealthy man hires a manservant, on whom he becomes increasingly dependent, and as the servant insinuates his girlfriend into the household, things take a dark turn.

With a soundtrack by John Dankworth, including the song “All Gone” sung by Cleo Laine.

Although the film is rated 12A, it contains adult themes.
