Based on Freddie Machin’s play and shot in only 19 days, this British film features Richard, a 15-year-old with learning difficulties (and a pet chicken) who shares a rickety caravan in the Norfolk countryside with older brother Polly. Becoming besotted with the 17 year-old daughter of their landlord, Richard is torn between his increasingly abusive brother and his new friend.
