The Sinodun Players proudly present a new production of Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure, which explores the complex tensions between law and justice, and forgiveness and mercy.

Set in 1938’s Vienna at the height of the Nazi Anschluss of Austria, a new leader is in charge. How far will they go to get what they want?

A young man faces death at the hands of the regime. How far will his sister go to save his life?

Shakespeare’s darkly comic exploration of power and corruption is given a bold new direction that brings together rich characters, evocative cabaret music and powerful drama to shed fresh light on a turbulent period in history.
