WALLINGFORD – The Story of an Ancient Town  (Cert U) 55 mins.  The colour, drama and excitement of Wallingford’s long history, from  its beginnings as one of Alfred the Great’s most important fortified towns to its recent roles as a home for artists and writers such as Dame Agatha Christie and the location for film and television series such as Midsomer Murders.  Directed by Nick Brazil, narrated by Liz Hollis with some Sinodun Players seen as extras. Copies of the DVD will be on sale in the interval.

Map of MIDSOMER (Cert PG) 45 mins.  John Nettles guides us round the Midsomer area, and some local people are seen in the film. This film has been shown at the Corn Exchange before and this screening is for those who missed it last time or would like to see it again.
